The article appearing in the July 2008 edition of Tramway Review infers that Summerlee and its Tramway would re-open in the spring of 2008. The opening has in fact been delayed until about mid September 2008 and intending visitors would be well advised to contact Summerlee Heritage Park to confirm that the Museum and Tramway are operating before making travel arrangements. On-line Sales
It is now possible to purchase books from our catalogue or to apply for Membership of the LRTA on-line. To do so just follow the links for Books and Membership. You may still order by post if you so wish or if your brower does not support Javascript. In this case still follow the same links to see the catalogue but print out the appropriate order form.

As with most new things despite all the testing problems can occur. If you have a problem using the shop pages please contact shopmaster@lrta.org so that it can be corrected.

Membership Renewal - On-line

Personal Membership renewals for 2009 are now available in the LRTA shop and can be found at LRTA Personal Membership Renewals 2009..

Please Note that The Europe and Rest of World rates have been harmonised so there are just two options UK and Overseas.

Student Membership

Student Membership at a reduced price is now available to anyone up to the age of 25 who is in full or part time education, or a work-related training scheme in the public transport industry including suppliers of goods and services.

Site Notices

To alleviate overload problems with our server the LRTA site has now been split with some items being transferred to www.lrta.info. While this should appear seamless it is always possible that some links may be broken. Please advise the Webmaster if you come across any broken links or other problems.

Books and videos are despatched by Royal Mail surface mail, unless Air Mail has been ordered. Items destined beyond the European Union (EU) carry Customs Declaration forms stating the description and value of the goods enclosed. Purchasers should be aware that import duty and/or sales taxes may be levied on delivery in some countries outside the EU. These charges are not included in our sales prices.
