Calmet Laboratory Services is a UKAS accredited laboratory offering a calibration, replacement, measurement, servicing and repair facility. Set up in 1991, it has grown to become one of the most highly regarded laboratories in the UK, Calibration services now offered include mechanical, electrical, electronic, pressure, torque, surface tables, gauge blocks and numerous others. A wide scope, offering UKAS and National Traceable certification, both in the laboratory and 'on-site', provide our customers with a 'total calibration package'.

It is administered on behalf of the rail industry by the Achilles Link-Up Team and is supported and used by close to 80% of the major rail companies throughout the UK.
