COE Ltd designs and manufactures video transmission and CCTV control products for the UK and international rail markets.  Established in 1989, COE has grown to be one of the major fibre video system designers in the UK.  Products include analogue and digital short and long line transmission codecs for use directly over fibre cable and SDH or IP networks.  COE E-Class and Series 300 transmission products are approved to Network Rail safety approvals and are used extensively for monitoring rail level crossings across the UK both on non-electrified and electrified rail lines.

Product Profile
COE can supply a complete range of CCTV management and transmission products for use on platform, track-side, depot and public area surveillance.  Many of our products have been used on major rail networks across the globe and the range includes:

Single and multi-channel digital fibre transmission systems supporting 1 to 1000’s of cameras.
Digital codecs for digital network transmission: SDH and IP based networks.
CCTV command and control system for single or multi-site CCTV management.
Computer based client-server GUI with digital video network recorder with multi-disk management system.
Video Analytics software for complex object and motion detection ideally suited to platform, rail, depot and public area automated surveillance and management.
SNMP alarm based server for third party integration.

COE provides a design service to aid product selection, backed up by bespoke product design and adaptation, if required for your application.
